Ownership of Atlantic Surgery Center is divided into three primary specialties; urology, ophthalmology, and gastroenterology. It is currently owned by 8 physicians: 6 urologists, 1 ophthalmologist; 1 gastroenterologist. The surgery center has 5 OR’s and 3 procedure rooms, serving 7,814 patients in 2025. The surgery center was the first surgery center in the greater Daytona Beach area to break ground, opening in December in 1994. It was the 17th ambulatory surgery center in the state of Florida.
We are AAAHC certified center. The Center holds several “Centers of Excellence”, the most recent in urolift technology. The physicians and staff of Atlantic Surgery Center take great pride in serving the greater area of Daytona Beach and Volusia County.

Atlantic Surgery Center is a solely physician owned surgery center. Through physician ownership he/she has direct input inot the quality of care, quality of services, staff and operations. Physician owners pay particular attention to these issues because Atlantic Surgery Center is a direct reflection upon them. Atlantic Surgery Center is governed by a six member board of directors and is licensed by the State of Florida as an ambulatory surgery center. It is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. and the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services. In compliance with State Statue, a physician may not refer to an entity in which they have ownership unless the patient is informed of this business relationship.
